What is StayZio and how does it work?

StayZio is Tamil Nadu's first dedicated hourly hotel booking platform. Book a hotel room for 3hr, 6hr, 12hr — or a full-day stay (12 PM to 10 AM). Search your city, pick a hotel, choose your duration, pay securely via Razorpay and receive instant confirmation.

Which cities is StayZio available in?

StayZio is live across 7 cities in Tamil Nadu — Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Erode, and Tirunelveli. Expanding to more cities soon.

What stay durations are available?

We offer Hourly stays (3hr, 6hr, 12hr) and Full Day stays (12 PM check-in to 10 AM checkout). All durations are based on hotel availability and can be booked instantly.

What payment methods does StayZio accept?

We accept all major payment methods via Razorpay — UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets. You receive instant confirmation via SMS, WhatsApp, and Email.

What is the Surprise Events feature?

Surprise Events lets you add special room decorations and gift add-ons at checkout — perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals and romantic stays. Options include cake, flowers, balloons, candles and more, arranged through StayZio.

Is StayZio available as a mobile app?

Our mobile app is in development and launching soon for iOS and Android. StayZio is fully accessible via our mobile-optimised website in the meantime.

Is there any upfront cost or registration fee?

No upfront cost or registration fee whatsoever. StayZio operates on a commission-only model — we earn only when you earn. Commission is transparent, pre-agreed and visible on every booking.

Will hourly bookings conflict with my OTA bookings?

Not at all. Hourly inventory is completely separate from overnight inventory. Our system fills the gaps between traditional check-in/checkout cycles — zero cannibalisation of your existing revenue.

How do I manage my rates and availability?

Through your Vendor Extranet portal — set rates per duration (3hr/6hr/12hr), update in bulk across date ranges, and use Quick Sold Out when rooms are unavailable. All changes reflect in real time.

Does StayZio sync with MakeMyTrip or Booking.com?

Yes. StayZio includes a Channel Manager with two-way real-time sync with MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Goibibo and Agoda. Rates and availability stay consistent across all platforms automatically.

How and when do I get paid?

Payments are processed via Razorpay. Your earnings after commission are settled to your bank account per the agreed cycle. Your vendor portal shows full ledger, sales summary and downloadable invoices.

What support does StayZio provide after listing?

Every hotel partner gets a dedicated relationship manager for onboarding and ongoing queries. Booking support runs 24/7 so your guests are always taken care of.
